| Application of the PHC Pile in Collapsible Loess Region |

| Abstract:The high strength pre-stressing concrete piles (PHC) are widely used in the foundation works of hydropower projects and tall structures. Through comparison of construction conditions, test results and economic analysis of PHC pile of some projects in Xi'an，the paper probes into the feasibility of adopting PHC pile under reasonable construction techniques in tall buildings in 7 seismic collapsible loess regions, and puts forward some matters needing pay attention to for adopting PHC piles. |
