中文摘要:柔性直流输电系统(VSC-HVDC)的控制特性与常规直流存在较大差异,传统的控制策略在VSC-HVDC接入电网中难以完全适用。分析了柔直与常规直流接入情况下系统故障响应特性的差异,研究了重新制定含VSC-HVDC的电网安全稳定控制策略的必要性,给出了一种适用于含VSC-HVDC电网的控制策略生成的通用原则。基于IEEE30节点系统,验证分析了含VSC-HVDC的安全稳定控制策略的合理性与有效性。

Research on Security and Stability Characteristics and Control Strategy of Power Grid with VSC-HVDC
Abstract:The control characteristic of the voltage source converter based high voltage direct current system(VSC-HVDC)is largely different from that of the line commutated converter based system(LCC-HVDC), therefore the traditional control strategy is not completely suitable for the power system with VSC-HVDC. To guarantee the safe and stable operation of the power grid with VSC-HVDC under serious faults, new control strategies should be studied. This paper analyzes differences of system fault response characteristics between VSC-HVDC and LCC-HVDC and studies the necessity of redesigning security and stability control strategy for power grids containing VSC-HVDC and proposes the general principles for making the strategy. At last, to validate the rationality and effectiveness of the proposed control strategy, some simulations are performed with an IEEE30 system using the simulation software called FASTEST(Fast Analysis of Stability using Extended equal area criterion and Simulation Technologies). The simulation results show that the proposed strategy is both rational and effective for the fault recovery of the power grid with VSC-HVDC.
